The oldest, most difficult, and challenging course in Walton County is the 18-hole championship course formerly known as Defuniak Springs Country Club (now known as Eagle Springs Golf Course). It’s made up of gently rolling hills and pine forests, with five spring-fed lakes, 23 sand traps, as well as natural dangers such as towering trees, sandy scrub brush, hardpan, and a variety of blooming shrubs.
